Singer and songwriter Maria Ka is Polish, born in Gdansk. She does not belong to the Jewish community, but passionate about Yiddish, she made her musical career in that language. With an electronic, young and modern sound, she represents the most present in Jewish roots music. His most recent solo show DI SHAYKHESN, is creative and innovative, at the same time that it brings to mind the songs of Israeli composer Naomi Shemer, whose songs tell us the history of the state of Israel. For this reason, the production of this show seeks mixing yesterday and today, in compositions and female voices, with the participation of Carla Berg, Claudia Hemsi, Lia Levin, Nicole Borger, Regis Karlik and the Israeli Zohar Yaar.
